About Me
I am a licensed psychologist with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals and families build resilience, flexibility, and confidence in the face of complex health and life challenges. I work with adults, parents, adolescents, and families who want practical, evidence-based tools for managing anxiety, stress, relationships, and ongoing uncertainty. My background includes training in cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, family systems, and mind–body approaches, with additional grounding in public health and integrative mental health. I am licensed in Washington and Oregon, and through PSYPACT I provide telepsychology services in over 40 states. I am also licensed in British Columbia, Canada.
Supporting people affected by food allergies is a core focus of my work. I bring both professional expertise and over 17 years of lived experience as a food allergy parent. My daughter has managed more than 25 food allergies along with asthma, eczema, and environmental allergies, and our family has experience with SCIT, SLIT, OIT, and biologics. I help clients build practical skills for living full, meaningful lives while navigating health, safety, and treatment-related stress.
I am also the founder of Food Allergy Hive, where I create evidence-based online programs that address the emotional and relational impacts of food allergies and their treatments. These programs expand access to high-quality mental health support and help individuals and families move from fear and isolation toward confidence and resilience.
Across both therapy and online programs, my goal is to provide care that is grounded in science, emotionally attuned, and deeply practical, so people can feel supported, capable, and empowered to thrive.
