About Me
For more than 20 years, I’ve helped individuals, families, and communities build greater psychological flexibility and resilience. My education at the University of Washington and UC Berkeley gave me a strong foundation in cognitive-behavioral therapies, attachment theory, family systems, indigenous health, and multicultural feminist therapies. I am a licensed psychologist in Washington and Oregon, and through the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), I can provide telepsychology services in over 40 additional states.I maintain a small therapy and coaching practice based in the Pacific Northwest. My clinical specialties include anxiety disorders, child and adolescent development, parenting, relationships, mind-body health, and the unique challenges that come with managing food allergies. I frequently work with highly sensitive, gifted, and high-performing individuals.
Supporting those managing food allergies is one of my deepest commitments. I help clients build practical skills and strategies for living full, meaningful lives while navigating health and safety concerns. Alongside my professional expertise, I bring 16 years of lived experience as a food allergy parent and advocate. My daughter has managed more than twenty food allergies (including seven of the nine top allergens) along with environmental allergies, eczema, and asthma.
I have personal experience with SCIT, SLIT, and OIT, and I am a co-author of Treating Food Allergies with Modern Medicine.
