This program is designed for graduate-level professional counselors. No additional prerequisites are required.
Program Complaint, Dispute, Fees, Refund, and Cancellation Policy
1. Program Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Academy of Food Allergy Counseling is committed to providing high-quality, on-demand continuing education programs. Participants may submit complaints or disputes in writing to the Academy of Food Allergy Counseling at info@foodallergycounseling.org. Participants should include their name, the course title, a description of the concern, and any relevant supporting information.
All complaints will be reviewed fairly and objectively. The provider will make reasonable efforts to respond within 15 business days of receiving a complaint. If additional time is needed, the participant will be notified. The complaint, review, and resolution will be documented and maintained in accordance with the provider’s recordkeeping procedures. Participants will not be subject to retaliation for submitting a complaint in good faith.
2. Program Fees
Course fees are established by the provider and displayed on the course purchase page before payment is completed. Participants are responsible for reviewing the course description, learning objectives, format, requirements, and applicable fees before purchasing access.
3. Refund Policy
All courses are offered on demand and are available for access after purchase. Participants should review the course description and requirements before completing their purchase.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Academy of Food Allergy Counseling at info@foodallergycounseling.org, including the course title, purchase date, and reason for the request.
Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be considered for duplicate purchases, unresolved technical issues that prevent course access, or other exceptional circumstances. If the provider is unable to provide the purchased course or resolve a significant access issue, an appropriate refund or alternative resolution will be offered.
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days. Any applicable refund restrictions will be disclosed before purchase.
4. Participant Cancellation Policy
Because courses are offered on demand, participants are not required to attend a scheduled session and may access the course at their convenience, subject to the stated course access terms.
Participants who decide not to complete a course after purchasing access may submit a refund request in accordance with the refund policy above. Choosing not to begin or complete a course does not automatically qualify a participant for a refund.
5. Course Availability and Provider Cancellation
The provider makes reasonable efforts to maintain access to published courses for the period specified at the time of purchase. If a course becomes unavailable or the provider is unable to fulfill the purchased access, affected participants will be notified and offered an appropriate resolution, which may include restored access, an alternative course, or a refund, as applicable.
6. Policy Publication and Accessibility
This policy will be published on the provider’s website or course purchase page and made available to participants before purchase. Questions, complaints, or refund requests may be directed to the Academy of Food Allergy Counseling at info@foodallergycounseling.org.
