About Me
I am a second-career psychotherapist, after my first career as a full-time parent of four, homeschooler, and parent of a child with food allergies. I’ve been through the early allergy years, the experience of losing safe foods at the grocery store, using the epipen, OIT, and EoE. Food allergy parents, especially, can find themselves stuck in a cycle of fight or flight, especially when dealing with ongoing real life danger, such as protecting your child from allergens. Everyone deserves mental health though, and our children are affected by our mental wellbeing. Taking care of the caregiver is an important part of keeping your kiddo healthy too.
