I work with children & teens, parents, young adults & adults throughout California who are handling the emotional challenges that come with navigating food allergy avoidance and medical care. I began providing food allergy-informed psychotherapy in private practice in 2018, after working with many participants in clinical trials at Sean N Parker Center for Allergy & Asthma Research at Stanford University.

I offer psychotherapy in-person or virtually for individuals & families dealing with the stress of managing food allergies. People seek care for many reasons: Perhaps your child is not cooperating with your allergist’s guidance. Maybe avoidance has gotten out of control. I can guide you through a decision-making process so you can feel more confident about your decisions for you & your family. I can help with fears & worries about food allergy testing, treatment, and everyday living. I support families to improve communication with their health care providers. I’ve worked with families handling the social obstacles that food allergies present, and can help kids & parents learn how to find a balance of safety and enjoyable activities like parties, play dates, and travel.
