About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with experience treating children of all ages. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents and their families to help make life a little bit easier. I work closely with parents to develop goals and a plan that feels like the right fit for their child, using developmentally appropriate techniques for the child and offering evidence-based parenting strategies for parents. I also have experience coaching both students and teachers in the classroom. I collaborate with clients’ schools whenever possible to make a plan that is clear, consistent, and obtainable. I approach my work with a curiosity and playfulness, making sure that therapy is both fun and accessible.

As someone who manages their own life-threatening food allergies, I am passionate about working with the food allergy community. I have researched and presented on ways to support the social and emotional health of children, adolescents, and families who are living with food allergies. I also have my own lived experience- I recognize that while the scariest symptoms associated with food allergies are having accidental exposure and reaction, the symptoms that are experienced most frequently are the emotional effects, often in the form of fear and anxiety. I am excited to work with youths of all ages and their families to learn to cope with the stress of anxiety of having food allergies and to live a life with food allergies that feels happy, full and fun!
